Designer and artist, Inca Starzinsky collected hundreds of used postage stamps and sorted them into colour groups – red, green, blue, and so on.
The used and worn appearance of the stamps in the context of a new, designed object is an interesting contrast. The stamps have connotations of travel, communication and history, but in particular a more meaningful, or perhaps romantic form of communication in today’s society.
